Hello! My name is Akshay.

I am a student researcher at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in the Department of Neurosurgery. I work under Dr. Parag Patil at the Restorative Neuroengineering Group, where I am applying signal-processing and machine-learning methods to improve the efficacy of subthalamic deep brain stimulation (STN-DBS) surgery for Parkinson’s Disease.
